During the day we wanted to highlight how dementia can affect anyone, even young people who may see changes in loved ones through the disease, so we created Young Footballers Against Dementia, with youngsters getting the chance to play on the hallowed turf and leading players out holding the name of someone affected by dementia. We were delighted that former Norwich City Legend John Deehan, who is affected by dementia, led the teams out with his grandchildren.
