Why Football Against Dementia?

BUILD A CLUB TO FIGHT DEMENTIA

Our project is designed to replicate a ‘Football Club’ we aim to grow and progress through the leagues and face the challenges which come our way.

From the outset we realised that former professional and amateur footballers are adversely affected by dementia. And that there is a real passion and determination within the football family to help people and bring about long term sustainable change and support to anyone affected by dementia.

It is clear to us that the 850,000 people who have dementia in the UK is only a small part of the number who have to live with the disease on a daily basis. Our club aims to help everyone.

CLUB STRUCTURE

We are supported by volunteers who freely give their time and expertise to take up vital club roles.
